By accessing or using Safe Spend, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue your use of the application.

2. Authorized Use & Account Safety

Accounts are restricted to whitelisted email domains or specifically authorized users to prevent system abuse. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and are fully liable for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Fair Usage & Rate Limits

To maintain server performance and prevent excessive API costs, Safe Spend enforces rate limits on select generative AI capabilities, including:

• AI Coach Queries: Max 15 requests per minute.
• Receipt Scanning OCR: Max 10 uploads per minute.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that bypass or manipulate these restrictions.

4. Service Modifications & Self-Hosting

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue sections of the hosted service. Because the application is designed with open-source capabilities in mind, developers are permitted and encouraged to clone the repository and self-host the system on their private infrastructure under the terms of the project's license.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Safe Spend is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be entirely error-free or uninterrupted. Financial advice generated by the AI Coach is for informational purposes and simulations only and should not be considered qualified professional financial counseling.
